A Warm Spring Day!

We went to the park to play and Ashton wanted to show off his tree climbing skills. After he climbed down I told him that he should go and do the slides a few more times before we had to go. He said that he was going to stay under the trees, the birds asked him to stay.

You can tell by his hair and grumpy expression that he just got up from his nap. He is not happy that the water is so cold.

He relaxes while I lug 10 buckets of hot water from the kitchen.

He has his water wings on and is ready to swim.

I just dumped a bucket of water on his head, he is not a happy swimmer. Then I splashed him and let him splash me back. That made him happy again.

Heather decided that she would "swim" with Ashton. She dumped a bucket on her head to get used to the water.

Here she is not quite sitting like Ashton in the pool.

After sitting a while and going on his back, he tries the idea of swimming on his tummy. After he did this he said "Mom, I can do it! I can do anything!" He was pretty excited.

While waiting for his Mommy to come and get him he has an otter pop with Heather.

He says it's sooo good! It was kind of cloudy and we were hearing some thunder over the mountains but still a warm day.
