A Fun Day!

Today has been a very fun day! Hannah and Abby came over to play with Ashton, it was overcast and kind of cold but we decided to go out and play.

Ashton is a regular old pro at the slide, he climbs up it quite well now. Hannah said that the rungs of the ladder were too hard so I helped her to the top so that she could go down the slide.

Ashton liked to climb the ladder then reach over to the rings and just hang on for a while.

He also liked to hang on the monkey bar, this is scarier though and after awhile he said "mom, come and get me." Then I supported him while he went across.

Hannah took a turn on the swing. Whenever she slowed down she would remind me to push her.

Abby loved to go up the slide, it made me feel nervous but she was determined. She would use her chin to hold on so she could move her hands to the platform.

Abby liked to have turns on the swings too.


Hannah pulled the jump rope behind her like it was her pet and she was out walking it.

They all liked blowing bubbles and chasing them. It was hard to get a picture of Abby blowing bubbles because she didn't stay in one place, and all I had was the camera in my phone.


Abby liked to ride the little scooter around but she didn't want to stay on the patio and got frustrated when it would move easily in the grass.

We also did some chalk art. Hannah preferred the pink chalk, she did a lot of coloring but couldn't tell me what she was making.

Ashton told me that this is a rocket, and he is drawing a ladder to get into it.

We all had a fun day, we came in when a few snowflakes started falling. Hannah Saurus Rex didn't want to come in and she made noises like a dinosaur and stomped around. I convinced her it was time to go in and play for a while before lunch. We had pizza or hot dogs, fruit snacks and milk. And right now after all of the playing I am tired and all of the munchkins got worn out too because they are all napping nicely. Like I said it has been a really fun day!
